War is legal and war is harsh for the ill prepaired. Not only does it not violate the spirit of the system but its your own fault for not A. supporting your alliance/corp's war in pvp- instead of mission while at war and B. being so unaware of the goings on of your corp that you didn't even know you were at war. It takes a full 24 hrs for a war to even be processed and the fighting begin and your ceo's/ directors most likely sent mails to all members. YOU can also check you coroporation tab as well.
With this said WELCOME TO EVE. QUIT YOUR CRYING AND PICK UP SOME BLASTERS!!!!

Edited by: Nathaniel Hull on 16/01/2007 10:14:51 "Consensual PVP"..........um so i have to ask the guy if he wants to fight before i blow up his hauler and steal the goods inside. .....A fair fight noooo but im a pirate I want his goods what dont u guys get about that. Sigh, the whole flagging system, wars, low sec, and 0.0 pvp make this game as realistic and unpredictable as can be. Frankly to loose it would hurt this game's integrety ....and though i have none id hate to see that.

Edited by: Nathaniel Hull on 17/01/2007 19:47:45 On the issue of leaving an alliance or corp during war to carebear, most smart alliances and big corps have out of alliance/corp production and holding entities. Sometimes these entities are disguised sometimes they are not and simply labled as an RnD division. So frankly it is ideal for a large alliance to allow some of their players isk making/production breaks during periods of extended war. You cant stop it aside finding those corps and dec'ing them too, but new ones will be made and you will be back to square one.

Originally by: Trinian Snow I have the solution to all this non consensual pvp. We need warp disrupters/scramblers and bubble removed from the game, we also need ships to have an instant warp button and increased HP to avoid insta pop. This will mean that all pvp will be consensual because if you donĘt like it you can just warp away. Empire war decs would no longer be a problem because the underdog could just warp. It would lead the way for the removal of concord because there in game role would be limited which would surely help prevent lag It would also cure the problem of people logging off because there would be no more need to do so. Your ships assets and pod would be completely safe unless you wanted to fight to the end. Oh what a happy place eve would be?
WoW so basically eve would be a game of all carebears....it would be great though for a theif like me ....yes ore theives...ever though that your cans would just be completely raided that it wouldn't matter what you did because you could warp.
Have you ever considered that scramblers ensure the deaths of those trying to destroy or steal your assets.
Also why dont i just blow up all the containers ...who is to stop me if i can insta warp away with NO CONCORD to tell me im a bad bad man.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Instead of you being so afraid of Privateers "terrorism" every player could greif the others endlessly and THIS WOULD HAPPEN cuz pvp would be moot.
Go back to playing WoW where you keep your crap when you die and their are no real consequences for your actions.
Thats what makes this game so great. As it is said often "YOU can do almost anything in EvE."
